White Pine Ski Area & Resort
Winter brings downhill skiing and snowboarding with many challenging runs. Food services include lunch at the White Pine
Grill, dinner and spirits at the Grubsteak Restaurant and Bar. Two state of the art triple chair lifts provide access to
over 25 trails featuring an exciting variety of slopes from novice to advanced skiers and riders. The "Great Spirit" lift
rises to the summit of Fortification Mountain with an elevation of 9,500 feet where you will find spectacular views of
the Continental Divide of the Wind River Mountains, the Bridger Wilderness, Fremont Lake, as well as the Wyoming Range,
the Gros Ventre Mountains, Teton Peaks, and the Uinta Range of Utah. Little Spirit provides endless fun for the little
folk and those just starting out. Cross-country ski trail difficulty is approximately 25% beginner, 45% intermediate, and
30% advanced.
Location: White Pine is located 10 miles northeast of Pinedale, Wyoming in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area
Snowy Range is nestled in the stunningly beautiful Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest. This pristine setting is the
perfect backdrop for a winter break. The four chairlifts-Sundance, Virginian, Pioneer and Chute and our Magic Carpet
Surface Lift will move you up the mountain quickly and keep you skiing instead of standing. Beginner, intermediate,
expert. Regardless of your personal level of proficiency, you'll find the perfect ski or snowboard run-be it a downhill
screamer or a casual glide through tree-lined forests. Our 27 trails serve all skiing abilities from beginner to expert:
7 Beginner trails, 12 Intermediate trails, 8 Expert trails. Both skiiers and snowboarders are invited to try out our
Terrain Park. Snowboarding and skiing lessons are available for first-timers and accomplished individuals of all ages.
Take advantage of the day lodge with seating for 850 people!! Spacious windows allow viewing of the skiers coming down
the mountain. The view is nothing less than breathtaking. An excellent place for those that just want to watch and relax
too.
