The zoo's new master plan compares animals that utilize grasslands from North and South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia. The zoo cares for more than 800 animals representing over 200 species. The zoo maintains (2) species of primates, African Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Jaguars, Bison, and several aquariums.
