President's Alpine Slide
Take an exhilarating ride on America's newest alpine slide! Each of the two Alpine Slide tracks offers 2,000 feet of
sensational family fun. Riders control the speed of their individual sleds and small children may ride with adults. You
can take a slow and easy ride down through the beautiful terrain, or go at a faster pace for action-packed excitement on
the dips and high-banked turns. Your adventure begins with a scenic chairlift ride up through the fragrant Ponderosa
pines. At the summit, you'll find a unique view of Mt. Rushmore and a beautiful mountain park area. The aroma of the Black
Hills' best cheeseburgers sizzling on our huge outdoor grill will lure you over to order. Have a frosty beer or a cold
soft drink as you relax in the shade and gaze at those famous faces across the valley.

Lake Oahe
Lake Oahe is surrounded by mixed grass prairie with trees growing down to the shore in occasional steep draws. People
travel from all over the nation to participate in recreational activities on the 461,000 acres of land and water that
comprise the project. There are 51 recreation areas located around the reservoir. Recreation opportunities at the lake
include camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, boating, water skiing, swimming, bird-watching, hiking, biking, and
photography.
Location: 7 miles north of Pierre, South Dakota, on South Dakota Highway 1804; or 5 miles north of Fort Pierre, South
Dakota on South Dakota Highway 1806.

Belle Fourche Reservoir
Belle Fourche Reservoir provides fishing for walleye, catfish, and white bass, hunting, boating, camping, picnicking and
swimming.
Location: Located in western South Dakota 9 miles east of Belle Fourche off U.S. 212.

Bramble Park Zoo
Experience over 500 mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and invertebrates representing 130 varieties from around
the world and those native to South Dakota. Explore animals in naturalistic dioramas in the Discovery Center, tour the
outside exhibits surrounded by beautiful landscaping and feed the animals in the Children's Petting Zoo.

Bear Country USA
Bear Country U.S.A. offers visitors intimate views of most North American mammals. Visitors take a leisurely three-mile
drive through several enclosures and encounter black bear, grizzly bear, elk, reindeer, deer, cougars, bobcats and many
other species. At this "the home of the largest collection of privately owned black bear in the world", Bear Country
U.S.A. guests are guaranteed to see more than they bargained for. From the comfort of their own car, visitors watch as
these clowns of nature frolic in a pool, climb trees and amble across the road in front of their vehicle.
