Riverbanks Zoo & Botanical Garden
Riverbanks is home to more than 2,000 magnificent and fascinating animals and one of the nation's most beautiful and

Cowpens National Battlefield
A pasturing area at the time of the battle, this Revolutionary War site commemorates the place where Daniel Morgan and his
army turned the flanks of Banastre Tarleton's British army. This classic military tactic, known as a double envelopment,
was one of only three in history.

Imagination Station

all the things our visitors have enjoyed during their visits to Imagination Station. Race The Wild and other Fun Factory
exhibits are here, along with Curiosity Corner and our collection of exotic animals, plus we're always adding new,
exciting and fun exhibits and programs! Imagination Station offers daily science and outreach programs as well as special
workshops. In addition, we host the most popular Birthday parties in town! Imagination Station provides unique educational
opportunities for students and families. We love making new friends from across the globe. So when you're traveling

Congaree National Park
Enter the Redwoods of the east. To walk here is to walk among ancient trees of record size. A storehouse of diversity, the
forest includes hundreds of species of plants and animals. Beauty and tranquility reign supreme in the midst of this
natural treasure. Congaree National Park houses a museum quality exhibit area within the Harry Hampton Visitor Center, a
2.4 mile boardwalk loop trail, over 20 miles of backwoods hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and more.

Ruth Patrick Science Education Center
The purpose of this effort is to establish a permanent program for enhancing science and mathematics education in the
elementary and secondary schools of the area. Its hands-on approach to teaching is designed to help people experience the
beauty, the order and the power of science and mathematics, as well as the interest and fun of discovery. A visit to the
RPSEC enables students, teachers and the public to experience science and mathematics in a challenging yet exciting way.
