Everyone heading to Massachusetts should make some room in their schedule to visit the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum. Here, you will find plenty of information
surrounding trolley car No.10 by Shelburne Falls and Coltrain Street Railway. The trolley car is preserved in the museum and it was built in 1896 in Springfield. Although
more than 100 years have passed since the No.10 was first functional it still carries on today. Visitors to the museum may take a ride on the trolley car in the same freight
yard where it worked years ago. The No. 10 was once used to carry milk, mail, passengers, and other types of freight. A ride on this trolley car is not only educational, it’s
a lot of fun because it really takes you back in time.
The museum is also home to many artifacts, pictures and the like dealing with the trolley and railroad. There are other rolling stock in addition to a caboose and even a
steam locomotive. There are toy trains and electric model trains in the Kids Corner where the youngsters can have fun and enjoy playing with the trains.
