Our mission is to connect people, animals and the natural world., which means we're dedicated to inspiring people to act
on behalf of the environment. To accomplish this, we provide award-winning recreational, educational and conservation
programs, locally, nationally and internationally. At last count, the Minnesota Zoo had over 400 animal species. The
Minnesota Zoo prides itself on providing an entertaining and educational experience for every visitor. Through graphic
displays, daily animal shows and volunteer interpreters we hope to present the importance of the environment and
conservation.

International Wolf Center
The International Wolf Center advances the survival of wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their relationship to
wild lands and the human role in their future. Observe our ambassador wolves, explore our Wolves and Humans exhibit, learn
from staff naturalists about wolf life and habitat, and discover much more when you visit the International Wolf Center's
interpretive center in Ely, Minnesota. Most programs are included with the price of admission.

Voyageurs National Park
Voyageurs is a water-based park where you must park your car and take to the water to fully experience the lakes, islands
and shoreline of the park. Today motorboats, houseboats, canoes and kayaks are all used here. The haunting call of the
loon, the distant howl of a wolf, the snap of branches as a white-tailed deer or black bear moves through the
forest - sounds that remind us that although we are visitors here, Voyageurs is home to a rich variety of wildlife.
Location: Voyageurs National Park is approximately 5 hours north of Minneapolis-St. Paul on I-35 and Hwy 53, 3 hours north
of Duluth on Hwy 53, and 4 hours south from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
