until late March. The summer hours are 9:30 am - 5 pm on weekdays and until 6 pm on weekends. The zoo is open most days of the year with the exception of the first
Friday in May, Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Admission for adults is $12, seniors age 65 and up are $9 and children 2-12 is $7.
