This museum is excellent and it was even recognized by USA Today for making a difference in its community. In 1998, many changes were undertaken and the museum grew to become what it is today. During this time frame the museum began to offer longer hours and even special slots for birthday parties and groups. By 1999 the museum had begun to grow even more and offer things such as Totally Toddlers, Sky Crawl, Siegl Circus, and Giant Pin Screen. These new programs were important to the museum and allowed families of all sizes and ages to enjoy the museum.
The general admission is $5 and it is free for members and children two and under. The museum is closed on Mondays and open from 10 am until 5 pm Tuesdays through Saturday. Sundays the museum is noon until 4 pm. Pricing for special events ranges and is posted on the website.
